In general, SFIS will take all precautions to safeguard the health and safety of our students, teachers, support staff, and the community. SFIS will respond as needed.
Due to the changing severity of the Covid-19 pandemic, Saint Francis Indian School has developed protocols to help safeguard our students, teachers and support staff. In cooperation with Tribal Health experts, the SFIS School Board has authorized the administration to change from in-person classroom instruction to Hybrid Instruction when the health and safety of our students requires it.
If CDC, Tribal Health Orders, or School Board decisions are issued to restrict face-to-face student instruction, SFIS will implement Hybrid Instruction as follows:
Mission: The mission of the SFIS Distance Learning program is to provide students with an extensive and structured digital platform through which students can complete academic coursework during the days when students are learning out of their regular classrooms.
Attendance Structure: For Hybrid Instruction
