THE PURPOSE of these meetings are to give parents, guardians and school staff a better understanding of how ESSA (Title I) activities and funding are used at SFIS. ESSA programs require one annual parent meeting. However, in order to gather advice to better implement these activities, and provide parent training to improve understanding about the school system, Federal Programs sponsors parent meetings and parent-related training sessions throughout the school year.

We will post notices of upcoming meetings and minutes of past meetings. So as a parent or guardian, you can keep informed. You can always email suggestions to jmarino@sfisk12.org or call the school at 605-747-2299 for Joseph Marino.
