Instruction @Home Reminder

Homework and Instructional Assistance:
Providing learning opportunities for students during this time is of utmost importance. However, we also know that not all households have internet access and may need hard copy packets instead. We are trying to provide both types of resources to you. Although these methods are not the most optimum methods of instruction, we want to keep students actively engaged in learning and are attempting to provide these services accordingly.
K-5 Elementary
At this time, we have provided learning packets by delivery and mail. Homework can be returned to drop off boxes at your community centers. If you have internet access, continue to encourage your child to log in to the various educational platforms and continue with the assignments they are working on. These platforms are:
IXL, Smarty Ants (K3) and Achieve 3000 (3-5)

Please note that if your child has forgotten his/her password, please contact Ms. Theresa Young at 747-2299.

Check out Channel 93.  It will be utilized by staff to provide weekly Choice Board Instructional enrichment activities for students to do at home.

Middle School/High School:
If you have internet access, your child can access IXL, Achieve 3000 and Google classroom to continue with online learning. If you wish to have hard copy lessons or workbooks, please contact Ms. Theresa Young at 747-2299 and packets will be dropped off at the community buildings.

Also when available, individual teacher assignments for grades 6-12 will be posted on www.sfisk12.org and the SFIS Facebook page. These sites will provide specific assignments, links to activities, and teacher contact information.
