GATE Program news
On Day 4 of our training (July 17, 2025), morning session, educators and staff were fully engaged in an enriching session led by Ms. Babilonia Alvarez, Computer Teacher. The session on Foundational Skills Amplified: Leveraging Computer-Based and Game-Based Learning for Students and Digital Pathways to Literacy: Computer-Based Strategies for Enhancing Reading Development, featured interactive demo-teaching and equipped participants with valuable skills to enhance student learning.
We are privileged to have had the expertise of Dr. Amy Schweinle, Dean and Professor of Educational Evaluation and Research, and Dr. Robin Wiebers, Associate Dean, who joined us virtually and inspired our teachers and staff to pursue ongoing learning. Their presence not only motivated us to continue growing but also reaffirmed their support for our professional development, opening doors to new opportunities for success.
