Due to the dangerous winter road conditions, SFIS will be having online virtual school on Wednesday March 5, 2025. All student laptops were sent home. To be considered present the students must be log in as attendance will be taken by the teacher. Failure to log in will be considered absent. SFIS will be delivering student lunches today 2-20-25. The staff will leave the school at 11:00 a.m. and attempt to deliver to each house. Please be on the look out for the school staff. Call the building principals if you have any questions. 605-747-2299

We will have a late start tomorrow, February 20, 2025 for students at 10:00am. Staff is to report at 9:30am. This is due to the wind chill factor being sub-zero in the morning.

We are postponing tomorrow Girls Basketball game at Mahpiya Luta to Saturday February 22nd, 2025. The JV game will start at 3:00pm central followed by Varsity. Note: SDHSAA extended the regular season to Saturday February 22nd, 2025.

Due to the extreme sub-zero temperatures expected today and tomorrow. There will be NO work or school tomorrow, Tuesday February 18. 2025. Stay warm and safe. The C game will start at 4:00pm central followed by JV and Varsity.
